Handa na ba kayo malaman ang Sampung pinakasikat na pagkain tuwing pasko sa Pilipinas (Top 10 Chritsmas foods in the Philippines)?Bilang Pilipino at pagiging Katoliko isa ito sa inaabangang okasyos at tradisyon.Ang pag celebrate natin nito ay nagsisimula Disyembre 16 palang at natatapos ito sa unang linggo ng Enero.Pag Disyembre 16 dito ngasisimula ang Simbang Gabi, Siyam na araw na misa ito na nagsisimula ng madaling araw hanagang Disyembre 24. Syempre pag labas mo ng simbahan hindi mo pwedeng palampasin ang pagkain ng puto bumbong at bibingka na samahan mo pa ng mainit na salabat.Pag Bisperas na ng pasko at pagkatapos mong um-attend ng misa syempre eto na ang Noche Buena. At syempre nakahain na sa lamesa ang lahat ng pagkaing pampasko katulad ng hamon, lechon, at iba pa..Lahat tayo gusto natin at inaabangan ang Pasko at lalo na ang mga Pagkain pang pasko.

10. Salabat

Ang Salabat (Ginger Juice) ay madalas inumin pagkatapos ng malamig na Simbang Gabi na kadalasan ay ang kapartner ng Puto Bumbong. Masarap ito lalo ng kung mainit. Miss mo na ba to?

9 .Lechon

Anu man ang okasyon di na mawawala ang lechon. Sa pasko dahan dahan lang ang pagkain nito... nako sigurado may paglalagyan ka dito..Masarap to lalo ng kung masarap ang sauce....yummy..!

7 . Buko Salad at Buko Pandan

Mukhang masarap ano?Swerte nyo kase isasama ko dito kung paano gumawa ng Buko Salad. Masarap talaga 'to kaya ihanda na ang papel para sa paggawa nito...

Ingredients

young coconut meat from 5 coconuts, sliced into strips
1 container sugar palm (kaong), drained
1 cup nata de coco, drained
1 can fruit cocktail, drained
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
1 cup condensed milk (adjust to the sweetness you like)
1 cup thickened cream or whipped cream

Method

1. In a mixing bowl, combine together young coconut, sugar palm, nata de coco, fruit cocktail and pineapple chunks, and fruit cocktail. Make sure all ingredients are properly drained.
2. Place thickened cream in a container then gently fold the condensed milk.
3. Pour the cream mixture on the fruit mixture then mix well to combine.
4. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.

6 . Bibingka

3 . Leche Flan

Eto ang pinakapaborito kong handa sa Pasko. Eto ang paraan ng paggawa ng Leche Flan.

Ingredients

10 egg yolks
1 can (390g) condensed milk
1 can (390g) evaporated milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or lemon essence

For the caramel:
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water


METHOD 

1. Preparation time: 30 minutes
2. Estimated cooking time: 1 hour
3. Combine the sugar & water. Bring to a boil for a few minutes until the sugar caramelize in a saucepan.
4. Dispense the caramelized sugar into aluminum moulds (you can use any shape: oval, round or square) Spread the caramel on the bottom of the moulds.
5. Blend well the evaporated milk, condensed milk, egg yolks and vanilla by hand or blender.
6. Soothingly dispense the mixture on top of the caramel on the aluminum moulds. Load the moulds to about 1 to 1 1/4 inch thick.
7. Cover moulds individually with aluminum foil.
8. Steam for about 20 minutes OR 
9. Bake for about 45 minutes. Before baking the Leche Flan, place the moulds on a larger baking pan half filled with very hot water. Pre-heat oven to about 370 degrees before baking.
10. Let cool then refrigerate.
11. To serve: run a thin knife around the edges of the mould to loosen the Leche Flan. Place a platter on top of the mould and quickly turn upside down to position the golden brown caramel on top.
12. You can tell when the Leche Flan is cooked by inserting a knife. If it comes out clean, it is cooked.

Hindi syempre mawawala ang hamon o Ham tuwing Pasko. Pero katulad ng Lechon hinayhinay lang ang pagkain nito. masarap ito palaman sa slice bread o Tasty Bread.
